Czech Facet Cut Vase Probably by Exbor

Product Information

This really is a wonderful example of mid-20th Century Czech glass.  Judging by the style and colour of this piece, I believe it is likely to be a 1950s Pavel Hlava piece for Exbor.  The mesmerising indigo/petrol blue colour is typical of Czech glass and the facet cut is a trademark feature as the Czech glass designers and makers sought to show the skills they had honed over decades to their fullest.  The facet cut really works as the light is refracted through the piece creating a really captivating visual effect.  This vase is in excellent condition.  Height: 20.2cm; Diameter: 6.7cm; Weight: 800g
