A Topas Vase by Jan Beranek for Skrdlovice

Product Information

This topas and blue vase, cased in clear glass, is one of Jan Beranek's earliest and, perhaps, best designs. First designed in 1951, the relative simplicity of the oval shape is given additional interest by the dual-coloured core. This particular vase, which is less naive and more competent in its execution, is likely to originate from the mid-1950s when this colour combination was being incorporated into other, larger designs at the factory. Its size and appeal means that finding a space for it shouldn't be an issue. Height: 12.5cm; Diameter: 7.3cm; Weight: 730g
